One food bank or shelter gets swamped while another sits half empty, because people don’t know what’s open near them.
What they built
A live site where staff enroll people and post alerts, and an admin approves new places. Each alert goes only to the closest people who agreed to get messages. Texting and calls still need to be connected and tested.
